Social inequalities are conscious creation of specific sections of human beings through socio-economic-political systems. Rich –poor, upper caste-untouchable, tribal-non tribal man-woman and such other inequalities are creating an imbalance in society. Today’s situation is also contributing in perpetuating the existing inequalities thus further widening the gap between them.

We want a society free of all oppression. Webelieve such a society is possible. The oppressed can acquire knowledge, can organize them selves and could lead the process of creating a society where every human being could live with dignity. The marginalized have through their small struggles have achieved in making their presence felt. These groups will gradually join the wider stream of social change and thus cause the creation of a new just social Order . Disha Kendra has been working for the last 27 years.
